Richard Klemm Dresden Oyster Plate Raspberry Magenta Ground Floral c1891–1916

$450.00

This refined Richard Klemm Dresden oyster plate features a rich raspberry-magenta ground with finely hand-painted floral sprays and delicate hand-applied gilt throughout. The plate is formed with eight sculpted oyster wells, each individually decorated, a classic Dresden serving form produced for elegant late-19th to early-20th-century table service.

Decorated in Dresden by Richard Klemm, one of the city’s respected porcelain decorators, this piece dates to circa 1891–1916, as indicated by the crowned RK mark. The porcelain blank is of high quality, consistent with German whiteware used by Dresden studios during this period.

The vibrant ground color, crisp floral detailing, and well-defined molded form make this plate an excellent collector display piece or a standout addition to a curated European porcelain collection.
