Authentic antique Limoges portrait plate, hand-painted and artist-signed & dated 1891, featuring a romantic Victorian scene of a woman with putto/cherub and flowing drapery.


Painted on a GDM France (Gérard, Dufraisseix & Morel) porcelain blank, dating the piece to the late 19th century. The decoration includes a rich pink border, elaborate raised gold scrollwork, and a soft pastel hand-painted background. This is original period studio work, not a modern reproduction, and displays beautifully.
