This exquisite antique Dresden reticulated cabinet plate features a finely hand-painted courting couple in a Rococo garden setting, executed in the romantic Watteau style. The deep cobalt ground is richly adorned with raised, burnished gold scrollwork and an intricately pierced rim, highlighting the technical mastery of late 19th-century Dresden porcelain workshops.
The underside bears a blue script “R” Dresden mark, commonly associated with Richard Klemm studio production, dating the piece to approximately 1891–1916. Plates of this quality were produced specifically for cabinet display rather than table use.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Gilding remains beautifully preserved with only minimal age-appropriate wear.
Approximate Size: 9.5 inches (24 cm) diameter.
