Antique Limoges CFH/GDM Hand-Painted Violets Vanity Tray France c.1890 Signed

$110.00

Lovely antique Limoges porcelain vanity tray, hand-painted with a flowing field of purple violets on an ivory ground. Executed on a CFH/GDM (Charles Field Haviland / Gérard, Dufraisseix & Morel) blank, dating to the late 19th century (circa 1890–1900). The piece is artist-signed “Losky, March 4, 1899,” adding desirable provenance and period specificity.

The softly scalloped, asymmetric Art Nouveau form with lightly gilded rim is characteristic of CFH/GDM production from this era. Violet motifs are among the most sought-after Limoges florals, and this example displays refined shading, balanced composition, and confident brushwork.

Well suited for use as a dresser tray, vanity tray, or small serving tray, and an excellent addition to any antique Limoges or Art Nouveau porcelain collection.
