Gorgeous antique Meissen demitasse porcelain cup and saucer featuring alternating turquoise and white panels with hand-painted floral sprays and fine raised gilt decoration. Classic Meissen crossed swords mark in underglaze blue, with hand-painted pattern number “121/13” under base.
Date: Circa 1880–1910
Origin: Meissen, Saxony, Germany
Mark: Crossed Swords (underglaze blue), no dot or number between the hilts — indicates 19th century to early 20th century, pre-1924.
Pattern: Turquoise and white panels with hand-painted floral sprays and raised gilt scrollwork — sometimes called Turquoise Ground Dresden Flowers.
Shape: Lobed cup with ornate angular handle and matching saucer (oval well).
Decoration: All hand-painted with gold filigree and fine enamel work.
Condition: Excellent antique condition — no chips, cracks, or repairs. Gilding and enamels remain vibrant with minimal wear.
Measurements: Cup 2.25” high × 3.75” diameter, Saucer 5.25” wide.
